Multiband Datalink Receiver

Manpack Radio

Pictured here is a multi-band portable receiver used to retrieve sensor data from airborne platforms. The unit is the first device capable of receiving sensor and enhanced reconnaissance video data from Ku-band Digital, C-band Digital, C-band Analog and L-band Analog signals.

Parvus developed the rugged chassis and power supply for the system into which customer RF technology is integrated. A Parvus customer markets this high-speed wireless data receiver globally for use with manned and unmanned airborne platorms in homeland security and global military deployments. This sealed and shock-isolated aluminum chassis is fully submersible, operational across extreme temperatures (-20°C to +70°C), and tolerant to high levels of shock and vibration. The power supply supports standard military BA-5590 form factor batteries or DC vehicle power input. The front panel features four control buttons, an eight-digit LED display, MIL connectors, power switch, and handles.
