DuraNET 1268

**PRODUCT IN PRE-PRODUCTION; QUALIFICATION TESTING IN PROCESS**

The DuraNET® 1268 is a rugged Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch subsystem equipped with ten (10) triple-speed 10/100/1000Mbps ports for connecting IPv4 and IPv6 compatible computing devices onboard demanding network-centric (un)manned vehicle and aircraft platforms. This stand-alone unit features an onboard microprocessor for local/remote control and port monitoring, as well as support* for Quality of Service (QoS) traffic prioritization, Virtual Local-Area Network (VLAN) trunking, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMPv1), and Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) redundancy. To enhance security and system management, the unit integrates recoverable data zeroization capabilities for declassifying switch data, along with RS-232 Command Line Interface (CLI) and Ethernet management ports. Status LEDs indicate zeroization signal, power, and port link/speed/activity.

Small and lightweight in form factor, yet robust in mechanical design, the DuraNET 1268 switch serves as an ideal Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solution to enhance situational awareness in Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP)-constrained aircraft, tactical ground vehicles and maritime assets. Integrating a conduction-cooled, aluminum chassis with sealed MIL-38999 connectors and isolated MIL-STD-1275/704 power supply, this fully immersible subsystem is designed for harsh MIL-STD-461E EMI/EMC and MIL-STD-810G thermal, shock, vibe, humidity, altitude, and ingress conditions. The system features all industrial temperature grade components, near cable-less design, and no moving parts for maximum MTBF reliability. Four hardened Gigabit fiber optic ports can be optionally brought out through the rear panel of the unit.

* Note: Some firmware features are roadmapped and may still be under development / in validation.
